Personally, I welcome more inside-the-party Republican self-destruction (like this new ad from Ron Paul), but I also wonder how Newt Gingrich, a guy whose positions seem to change by the hour and based on his audience at that particular moment, was taken seriously as a presidential candidate for nearly two weeks. I suppose the adulterer you know is better than the one you only deeply suspect.

Maybe Jon Huntsman will get a turn in the "anyone but Romney" chair next? Wait, that would make far too much sense.

You might have seen some World AIDS Day events in the Weekly or online somewhere, but Jeffrey Scott Brown has done a great job putting together on Facebook a list of events happening all day long, including a free breakfast at Mother Hubbard's right now and running until closing time early tomorrow.

If you know of anything else happening today, feel free to pass the information on in the comments.
