"Untitled," by Luisa (age 12), is on display in Parks in Focus, continuing through Oct. 12 at Temple Gallery, 330 S. Scott Ave.
All work in this exhibition was done by middle school students who participated in the Parks in Focus program, which takes students to national parks and helps them connect with the natural world. All proceeds from the show will go to benefit the program.

"Chili Peppers," by Kathleen Elliot, is in on display in Playing With Fire, opening today, Sept. 25, and continuing through Nov. 13 at Philabaum Glass Art, 711 S. Sixth Ave.
Lisa Sette and Terry Etherton, two internationally known photography dealers based here in Arizona, will be speaking for 20 minutes each on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the Phoenix Art Museum about their passion for photography, and how that led to the opening of their respective galleries.
Their lecture will be followed with a discussion of, among other things, their favorite photos, the photography market, and advice for building a collection.

David Horowitz's "Scuba," which had been placed outside of the Trader Joe's at Swan and Grant Roads, was apparently stolen. Our delivery driver says the manager of the Trader Joe's last saw the box at 5 p.m. last night.
