Hi, I'm Patchouli!
I'm a 10 year old little calico cat who needs a home. I look a little bit different with my crumpled ears and I have a little bobbed tail.
I love people and being snuggled, I practically beg for attention from anyone who walks by my kennel. I'm very affectionate and will make a great addition to a home with a family!
If you're looking for a sweet, unique kitty come over to PAWSH at La Encantada to meet me! Don't forget that because of my age you can expect a "senior" adoption fee, which is only $50!
Hope to see you soon!
Lots of love ,

We have a very special cat looking for a home! Meet Cassandra.
This cutie had a litter of kittens and was fostered by one of our long-time supporters. All of her kittens have found their forever homes and we want sweet Cassandra to spend as little time as possible looking for hers!
Her adoption fees have been sponsored and she will stay in the Bonnie Kay Cattery located at PAWSH at Park Place Mall! If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly cat, Cassandra could be the perfect fit!
Contact PAWSH at Park Place at 881-7406 for more information and to check on sweet Cassandra's availability.

Meow! I'm Midnight.
I'm a 3 year playful boy and I need a home. I love attention from people and will run right up to you for pets on my head and scratches on my chin.
I tested positive for FeLV, but that doesn't mean that I don't deserve a good home! If you're interested in me, but have current cats don't worry: The Humane Society of Southern Arizona will test and vaccinate them at no cost to you to make sure that all your pets stay happy, safe and healthy!
If you're looking to brighten your home with a social and lovable cat contact the Main Campus at 327-6088 to check on my availability and exact location!
Lots of love,
Midnight (823366)

Woof! I'm Cocoa!
I'm a 5 year old baby boy and I'm looking for a home! I was transferred to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona from another shelter so they have limited information on my history.
What HSSA does know is that I play well with other dogs and I'm very treat motivated! I would benefit from some positive reinforcement training to work on some tricks!
If you're looking for a big cuddle pup I might be the perfect fit for your family. Contact HSSA Main Campus at 327-6088 to check on my availability and exact location!
Lots of love,
Cocoa (824296)

This is what your bed should look like when you get home from work.
There's a "holiday" or two for (what seems like) every day of the year.
According to
nationalcalendarday.com (the authority on these matters, I'm sure) April 30 has a lot to celebrate: It's National Bugs Bunny Day, National Raisin Day and National Oatmeal Cookie Day.
I feel like I know how to celebrate those (make some oatmeal raisin cookies and eat them while watching Looney Tunes, obviously), but another April 30 holiday makes how to participate clear in its name.
National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day is Saturday.
To help you celebrate, Pima Animal Care Center (4000 N. Silverbell Road) is offering free pet adoptions this weekend (Friday April 29 through Sunday May 1) on all pets over six months of age.
The fees typically cover the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchiping and a vet visit—all of which will still be included during this adoption weekend. A standard $16 licensing fee will apply to all adult dogs.
Enjoy your weekend of meeting your new best friend.

Hi, I'm Buddy!
I'm a 2-year-old little boy and I'm looking for a home. I'm really strong and need a home where I can get a lot of attention, love and exercise.
I would do great in an active home but I also want to live indoors and be a snuggle dog for your family. If you have other dogs or little kiddos bring your whole family over to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona to do a meet and greet!
Stop by HSSA Main Campus at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd. to see if we're a perfect match!
Lots of love,
Buddy (824004)

Hi I'm Barney!
I'm a 2.5 year old little boy who lives at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona Main Campus!
I'm very shy and scared in the shelter and really cant wait to find my new home!
I have good history with another dog in my previous home but am pretty shy around new dogs and people. I really hope that my new family will be patient with me as I acclimate to your home.
Contact the shelter at 327-6088 to check on my availability and exact location!
Lots of love,

It's been a busy month for Pima Animal Care Center, and not just becase Spring always means new stray cats and dogs: In the last three weeks, the shelter has taken in nearly 100 animals from instances of hoarding cases and one puppy mill.
PACC is getting crowded. As a result, the shelter is dropping pet adoption fees to $20 for any pet older than 6 months. That fee covers the spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and microchipping and licensing.
The lower rates continue through the end of April.
