• Rep. Gabby Giffords hits the stage at the Pima County Democratic Party Headquarters to an energized crowd.

A little uneventful, but Giffords just walked in at the Marriott, surprising nearly everyone here as she went straight to the stage to introduce The Human Project, a crew of breakdancers performing to a song by Major Lazer. The segue from voting results to dancehall rhythms was a little abrupt, but it lighten the mood here. Even so, the dancing was over after one song, and the grumbling could resume.

When she introduced the dancers, Giffords said just this about the vote: "I'm not going to make any announcement yet because it's too early."
