Seems inevitable, really. I'm a little surprised Nicolas Cage hasn't been attached to Angry Birds: Holiday Edition: The Film Experience in IMAX 3-D already.

The "Last Night Never Happened" app is $1.99 on the iTunes App Store, but the peace of mind that comes from instantly deleting all the stupid crap you posted last night on various social media platforms while intoxicated is priceless. It doesn't actually deleted the real-life debauchery you were posting about, but at least some of the evidence can be wiped away.

Some website called Pica-Pic has assembled a playable collection of largely circa-80's era Game and Watch handheld gaming systems which I remember being obsessed with, but seem like they should be from the Stone Age considering the quality of games you can get on your phone these days. Still, if you had the Donkey Kong Jr. game (or coveted the one your friend had), playing the games online is fun bit of nostalgia.

Nostalgia makes the classic Nintendo gaming system fun for people in their thirties and forties, but developing a breathalyzer controller for a homemade NES game is pure genius:

If you always wanted to chat to people you don't know from the city you happen to be in (and not chat like some creepy AOL thing where anyone can get in, but a chat of only people with iPhones, who are of course, the only people who actually matter), Yobongo is for you:
Yobongo, an iPhone application that seeks to serendipitously connect like-minded strangers in mobile chartrooms, will be available to users in San Francisco, Austin and New York City beginning Thursday. The application promises to automatically place users in system-generated city groups based on potential compatibility with other app users. The idea is to engineer relationships between people who may already have an interest in one another, but just not know it yet.
“We analyze every pair of messages sent through the system and use that to build up an understanding of who you like talking with,” says co-founder Caleb Elston, “Then when you open Yobongo, we place you with people you have the strongest affinity for. All of these simple signals lead to a very powerful signal,” he says.
When it comes to using the application, Yobongo needs little explanation, and there’s zero friction to getting started. Simply fireup the application and you’ll find yourself in a chatroom with other users. You can post messages to everyone, start one-off private conversations and checkout other group members.
Yobongo is fast, simple and fun — if conversing with strangers is something that sounds appealing to you.

Not exactly 127 Hours material, but apparently a series of caps locked tweets is the new distress call (in reverse chronological order):

It appears that We Dare, the video game for soft swingers, is going to only be offered in Europe for now, which is a shame, since the people in the ad seem to be having such an authentically entertaining time. I guess Americans are stuck with strip Mario Kart for now. Bummer.

After over 10 years of waiting, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is finally here, bringing us updated chaotic three on three battles with a revamped look and refined controls. The core experience is just as over-the-top and chaotic as ever, but is that enough to enthrall gamers after a decade of waiting?
The Tucson World of Warcraft Card Game group meets every Sunday afternoon at Amazing Discoveries.
Their fun doesn't end along with the card games, however.
Tucson WOW does a lot for charity. In December, as a group of 25 players, they participated in a can drive for local shelters. The group raised over 580 cans in total. They've also made clothing donations to an organization called OpenDoor.
"Tucson WOW isn’t just a community group of geeks that just play cards; it’s a family," says Krisitin Ashworth, a member of the group. "We help each other as much as we can, we host family dinners and we are always looking for new people to join our family."
Tucson WOW currently has more than 20 members who range in age from 12 to over 30. If you are interested in joining, Ashworth says that they're always glad to teach the game or lend a deck.
The group meets at Amazing Discoveries, 2928 E. Broadway Blvd., on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
