Wasting the improv-honed talents of Kevin Nealon, Andy Richter and Tim Meadows should involve some sort of penalty, but sitcom matriarch Doris Roberts does get to kick copious ass in a Crouching Tiger-style showdown with Robert Hoffman, owning the movie’s thankless Wile E. Coyote role. If you can’t talk your kids into seeing Up again instead, at least there’s an empowering message about being true to oneself … and air conditioning.
