I suppose Jeremy Irons five remaining
fans wont want to miss this one, but if
youre not in that select group, I cant
really recommend it. Irons plays a jewel
thief, and hes supposed to be a clever
con man, but his cons and grifts are so
obvious that their success strains the
credulity of the film. Meanwhile, a Jazz
singer is getting dumped by her
boyfriend, and blah blah blah love. I cant
say I made it all the way to the end of this
one, so maybe it picks up, but the
incredibly trite script didnt give any
indication that it was going anywhere but
down.
