Are We There Yet?

Finally, a light-hearted family flick with sadistic children wreaking havoc on their mother’s prospective beau during a never-conceived-before wannabe-comedic road trip. In a career-killer, Ice Cube stars as Nick, a sports-memorabilia store owner who uses his playboy moves on a damsel in distress (Nia Long) who soon puts the relationship into "just friends" mode when the divorced mother of two discovers his animosity toward kids. When the ex-husband cancels his New Year’s Eve plans with his kids, good ol’ St. Nick offers to take the two tykes on a 300-mile journey to meet their mother in Vancouver. From faked asthma attacks and kidnappings to public urination on an unsuspecting woman and other misdemeanors that would lead them to juvenile hall, the devilish pair makes Nick and viewers scream, "Are we done with this movie yet?"
