Bat Night 2009

View 40,000 bats as they take flight at an event featuring performances by Flam Chen and Logan Phillips, and an introduction by bat expert Yar Petryszyn, at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Rillito riverbed, just east of the Campbell Avenue bridge. Free. Bring a blanket and water. A number of eateries and businesses in St. Philip's Plaza, on the corner of River Road and Campbell Avenue, will feature specials after the event.
