This latest Disney flick stars CGI-enhanced talking dogs wearing sequined accessories or fighting for their liberation. Drew Barrymore voices Chloe, a pampered pooch with designer booties and an affinity for Harry Winston jewels who resides in Beverly Hills with her snooty millionaire owners. During a weekend trip south of the border, Chloe is dognapped by a dog-fighting ring. Heroic pooches using lame one-liners help her escape the mean Mexican streets to return to her cushy 90210 castle. Along the way, the canine crew encounters revolutionary Chihuahuas at an Aztec temple fighting for “no mas!” This muddled mess of stereotypes and a tired script will also leave viewers demanding: “No mas!”
