Experts join hundreds of volunteers to locate and identify every kind of living thing in the park, from microbes to mountain lions, between 8 a.m., Friday, Oct. 21, and 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22. A base camp at the Red Hills Visitor Center features presentations about biodiversity, structured field exercises for K-12 classes, demonstrations of field technology, and exhibits ranging from global biodiversity topics to local nature photography.
