Released in Japan in 2006, this convoluted adaptation of the popular manga series by Tite Kubo finally comes stateside to please its many fans. A mystical soul reaper sets out to eradicate a society of lost spirits called Blanks, who gather in the Valley of Screams, because it connects their alternate dimension with the real world. However, the unification of the Blanks somehow transforms the soul reaper into Memory Rosary, which, in turn, will apparently obliterate the entire dimension. Yes, its confusing. But despite the baffling plot, devoted Bleach followers will be pleased to see their favorite characters on the big screen, set to an impressive score by Shiro Sagisu.
