Botanical Gourds

When: Sat., Oct. 24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. 2015

Students will learn how to collect beargrass in the wild, prepare it and use it as the coiled rim of a vessel. Gourds are dyed with inks and metallic pigments, floral design principles will be used in adding skeletonized leaves and other botanicals.
