Disney has made some threats that this
traditionally animated film will be the last
their studio will produce, at least for the
time being. Considering that the movie
stinks, its a shame they couldnt put such
an engaging format to bed in nicer
fashion. A strange, New Age take on
Native American life 10,000 years ago, it
tells the story of a belligerent young man
who hates bears. After causing the death
of one, his ancestors transform him into a
bear to show him what its like, at the
same time blasting his ears with bad Phil
Collins music to keep him in line. The
story is silly; the animation unimpressive;
and the moral confused. Rick Moranis
and Dave Thomas reprise their Bob and
Doug McKenzie shtick as talking moose,
and theyre good for a couple of chuckles.
Otherwise, stay away.
