Community Book Read and Author Luncheon with Masha Gessen
"A Day With Masha Gessen"
This luncheon and discussion will focus on the book: Esther and Ruzya: How My Grandmothers Survived Hitler's War and Stalin's Peace (2005) by Masha Gessen, award-winning journalist and author. The afternoon lecture will be 4 -5 p.m. at UA Hillel Foundation the topic will be global LGBT rights. The evening lecture will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will discuss Putin’s War Against the West at the Tucson Jewish Community Center. The lectures are free and open to the public.
