To avenge the supposed murder of a notorious kingpin, thugs on steroids inject the deadly “Beijing cocktail” into the hitman (Jason Statham). According to a horny doctor, who can magically diagnose his patient over the phone in mere seconds, the dying killer must keep his adrenaline pumping to stay alive. So the newfound adrenaline junkie with a buzz cut ignites into an intense, no-holds-barred spree in which he fights anyone and everyone, chopping off stock character No. 3’s hand and joyriding on a cop’s motorcycle while in a hospital gown. However, when he’s in desperate need of an adrenaline jolt—and therefore forces his unsuspecting girlfriend to have sex with him in the middle of a crowded city—this riveting action flick becomes outrageously offensive and vulgar.
