Andie MacDowell is having quite a busy year already as she stars in this
second film that is released in 2002. However, I doubt that she is
complaining since this time she gets to play a wily spinster always having sex with a hot-to-trot man half her age, and then gossip about it in her British estrogen circle over chocolate and gin. But when one of the gabfest gals turns into a bitch-o-matic Joan Collins type that is followed closely by a wishy-washy sidekick who both attempt to break up the new sexaholic lovebirds, MacDowell might want to rethink her career path. Writer/Director John McKay presents an eccentric romantic comedy that tries too hard to shock audiences with its domino effect of random and unbelievable catastrophes.
