Día de Los Muertos Events at the Libraries

All library events are free. Age 11 and older bring small photos of special people, pets or places to use in making a small, personal altar from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at El Rio Branch Library, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd. En Mi Familia/In My Family, an intergenerational writing activity with Marge Pellegrino, is followed by a project to make mini-altars, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the El Rio Branch Library, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd. Several libraries offer workshops in making and decorating sugar skulls, a traditional craft of el Día de Los Muertos. Visit library.pima.gov, or call 791-4010 for more information.
