Dance With Games, Strings and Rhythms

When: March 1-2 2013

A cultural event to celebrate Black History Month takes place at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 1; and 2, 3, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 2; $12, $7 children age 12 and younger. Each performance is preceded by a workshop. The event is a story dance about how the survivors of voyages across the Atlantic shared their dances, rhymes and games, and passed them down through generations.
