I have almost too many good things to
say about this movie, but the short
version is: This is a classic film that
people will talk about and reference for
years to come. Bruno Ganz plays Hitler in
his final days. While the streets of Berlin
succumb to chaos, Hitler stalks the halls
of his bunker, patting the heads of
children, playing with his dog and
ordering the execution of innocent men.
Based on Traudl Junges Until the
Final Hour: Hitlers Last Secretary,
this may be the most accurate look at the
Third Reich ever put on film. Its certainly
among the most artistically
accomplished.
