First Generation

A screening of First Generation, a documentary about high-achieving, low-income high school students striving to be the first in their families to go to college, screens at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 25; free. Food trucks and a resource fair precede the show at 5 p.m. The event is cosponsored by the Metropolitan Education Commission, La Frontera Arizona and La Paloma Family Services.
