Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass, the team behind the last two Jason Bourne movies, again join forces for this Iraq war pic. Damon plays a soldier fed up with bad intelligence; when a townie tells him that a notorious general is secretly meeting in a house nearby, Damon takes matters into his own hands and becomes involved in all sorts of intrigue. Greengrass employs his shaky-cam techniques again—this time combining them with poor lighting. The result is something that’s literally hard to watch. Greg Kinnear plays a nasty Pentagon official who knows his government is lying. Damon works hard, but the shoddy script and spastic cameras let him down.
