Help Replant Bat Habitat Lost in the Monument Fire

Many agaves relied upon by the endangered lesser long-nosed bat were destroyed in the Monument Fire. Volunteers are sought to re-plant 1,000 agave plants on Saturday, Aug. 20. Registration takes place from 7 to 7:30 a.m., and is followed by a brief presentation about the importance of bats to the region. Free. Call to pre-register or for more information.
