A fairly large cast behaves ridiculously in this sometimes cute, occasionally funny and ultimately preposterous look at the modern dating world. At the center of the film is narrator Gigi (the charming Ginnifer Goodwin), who gravitates toward psycho in her dealings with men. Those men include Kevin Connolly, who plays a real estate guy obsessed with a beautiful yoga instructor (Scarlett Johansson), who is carrying on an affair with Ben (Bradley Cooper), who is married to control-freak Janine (Jennifer Connelly), blah, blah, blah. The problem with this kind of movie is that it tries to tell too many stories, and some of them arent as engaging as others. Still, it has its moments (one regarding women with certain names never sleeping with men got me good), and the cast delivers their roles efficiently, no matter how farfetched they become.
