Rutger Hauer gets his best role in years as the Hobo, a fed-up homeless man looking for justice in a city where the cops lack power, and youth violence has run wild. When the authorities refuse to help, Hobo gets a shotgun and blasts some holes in bad guys. Directed in a crazy fashion by Jason Eisener, this is an incredibly violent film, with many beheadings and disembowelments. Hauer seems to be having loads of fun, and Eisner has a good touch with insane comic-book violence. It might be a little too much for some, though.
