Hop stars James Marsden, who, at 37, plays Fred, the oldest living-at-home slacker seen in film in a long time. He runs into E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand), a 20-something soon-to-be Easter Bunny who decides to run away and become a drummer in Hollywood instead. With the help of Fred and David Hasselhoff, E.B. almost makes it big, but complications force him to go back and save Fred and his father from Carlos, an evil chick intent on becoming the Easter Bunny himself. While kids will surely dig it, there really isn’t much here for the adult crowd. Just grab some popcorn and soda, get the kids settled in, and let your eyes glaze over during the 95-minute runtime.
