This watered-down version of The Bodyguard and The Sopranos has dialogue that will make you roll your eyes. With his sultry voice and soft, boyish looks, the miscast Usher plays a bodyguard who would elicit no more fear than a bowl of broccoli. Nonetheless, a stereotypical mob boss (Chazz Palminteri) hires him to protect his little girl. Of course, Daddy Dearest is oblivious to the fact that his daughter is an insistent sex kitten. Once the movies running time has reached a substantial length, and inexperienced writer Chanel Capra has run out of inconsequential mafia filler, the dad/don realizes his daughters jungle fever. This unorganized crime flop is another to add to the growing list of director Ron Underwoods cinematic disasters.
