In the SHadow of the Moon

The years 1968-1972 were an exhilarating period in U.S. history, as NASA launched nine voyages to the moon. Now, director David Sington has weaved together remastered archival footage of these history-making journeys, adding in compelling interviews of the surviving Apollo mission members. Jim Lovell, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins and others use their own words, wit and humor to bring to life their magical feats of humankind. The brave men also share the dangers and pitfalls that they and the Apollo program endured. Even though the reclusive Neil Armstrong is noticeably absent, this emotional documentary is fantastic.
