Kino Manda a Caballo-Pilgrimage on Horseback

As part of a year-long commemoration of the 300th anniversary of Padre Eusebio Francisco Kino's death, and the 325th anniversary of his entrance into the Pimería Alta, a horseback pilgrimage will depart the Misión San Xavier del Bac at 7 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 26 and ride to Sentinel Peak ("A" Mountain). The ride follows the Santa Cruz River as Padre Kino did when visiting the village of San Cosme de Tucson. Free. All riders are welcome. For information visit padrekino.com
