Artist Esteban Silva creates handmade paper from invasive water lilies of Lake Patzcuaro, Michoacan at his lakeside workshop. This beautiful, resilient paper represents a creative solution to the effects of environmental contamination, and assists with restoration of this important lake. Silva creates handmade books, and linocut prints on the paper.
