Lottery Ticket

In Lottery Ticket, Foot Locker associate Kevin (Bow Wow) pisses off thug Lorenzo for not letting him steal shoes, and is fired for the incident. While playing his grandmother’s numbers in the lottery for her later that day, he decides to try and turn his luck around by playing numbers he found on the back of a fortune cookie. He just so happens to win the entire $370 million jackpot, but can’t turn in his ticket because of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, which means he has to hold on to the ticket for three days. Naturally, everyone Kevin lives near finds out, and he becomes the prey of money-hungry friends and neighbors, girls wanting to become his baby mama, flamboyant church preachers … and the newly released-from-jail Lorenzo. The movie features a fantastic cast, is very funny and never gets too preachy with its subject matter.
