Mesquite-Harvesting Workshop

Representatives of Baja Arizona Sustainable Agriculture show how to harvest, process and store mesquite pods in preparation for community mesquite millings in the fall; free. Classes are held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, July 19, and Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Sierra Vista Farmers' Market, at the corner of Carmichael Avenue and Willcox Drive; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 21, at the Bisbee Farmers' Market, at Vista Park in the Warren section.
