Outlander

This action-packed CGI extravaganza begins with high intensity, but fizzles in its second half. When Kainan (James Caviezel) and his people from another planet fail at invading another alien planet populated by giant metal-bug creatures called Moorwen, Kainan makes a narrow escape. He travels to eighth-century Norway, where the Vikings reign supreme. However, a Moorwen manages to sneak aboard Kainan’s spaceship and attacks the Norwegian fjords with a vengeance. Director/co-writer Howard McCain’s sci-fi fantasy flick will be a tough sell for audiences, thanks to the disappointing ending.
