Primeval

Using claustrophobic filming techniques with disorienting effects, Michael Katleman directs this B-movie about a bloodthirsty killer crocodile oddly named Gustave. When word spreads about the rampaging beast that has devoured hundreds of unsuspecting natives, three American newshounds jump on a plane to Burundi. There, they track the reptile using all ignorant means possible to produce cheap thrills for viewers. Meanwhile, the ragtag trio becomes engulfed in the shady politics of a stereotypical ruthless warlord. Writers Michael Ferris and John Brancato rely on unimaginative scenarios, leaving viewers rather bored.
