Sacred Harp Singing Convention

When: Sat., March 5, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sun., March 6, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. 2011

No experience is required to sing non-denominational hymns and gospel songs in the 200-year-old tradition of American shape-note singing from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5; and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday March 6. Free. Tucson residents are asked to bring a covered dish to share for potluck at 12:30 p.m. each day. Song books are $20 to buy and free to borrow. Call 743-1268 for more information.
