A few songs into this movie, I thought: Say, I really dont like the Rolling Stones. Still, director Martin Scorsese does a decent job of capturing them in a Beacon Theatre concert with guests like Buddy Guy, Jack White and Christina Aguilera. I certainly dont think the Stones are a bad band, but Ive always sort of seen them as a bunch of clowns (especially Keith Richards). Now that they are in their mid-60s, I find them quite interesting, but I still think The Who, the Beatles and even Pink Floyd made better music. If you are a fan, youll like this a lot more than I did. If you think Start Me Up is a crap song, then youll probably find yourself slightly amused, at best, by the fact that these guys keep doing this. The Clintons make an appearance at the films beginning, and Mick Jagger almost seems pissed off to meet them. I fear that Keith Richards will simply melt one of these days.
