Solar Viewing

When: Sat., Nov. 22, 1-3 p.m. 2014

Astronomy is not limited to the night! View details of the sun during this daytime astronomy program. Volunteers from Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association will use special filters to allow safe solar viewing. Participants may see sunspots, solar prominences, and solar flares. Feel free to bring a lawn chair. Weather permitting.
