The Forgotten

Julianne Moore plays a woman who is grieving over the death of her son. Then, suddenly, it seems like she never had a son. Did she imagine him? Or are dark forces attempting to erase her memory? Forgotten starts off as an interesting mystery, and then gets a bit silly with its explanation. It doesn’t lose all force, though, until the very end, which makes no sense even in light of the zany stuff that has gone on before. The best thing about Forgotten is that it’s almost impossible to describe the plot without giving out spoilers, so if you want to know what’s going on, you’ll have to see it for yourself. But really, take it from someone who’s already seen it: You probably don’t want to know.
