Ralph Kramden, the 50s TV king of inane get-rich quick schemes as a way to avoid letting his wife, Alice, down, this time lets the audience down instead. Cedric the Entertainer reincarnates the role that Jackie Gleason made famous as a New York City bus driver concocting various mo-money mishaps with his knucklehead sidekick and upstairs neighbor, Ed Norton (Mike Epps). From panhandling as unconvincing blind men to bad breakdancing in the park, the dimwitted duo stops at nothing to get an extra buck to buy Alices dream duplex in Brooklyn. John Schultz helms this pointless adaptation that deserves a one-way ticket to the moon along with Alice and the rest of this pitiful production.
