This production from the Legally Blonde screenwriters succeeds, because Anna Faris’ ditzy diva puts Elle Woods to shame. After Shelley Darlingson (Faris) is booted from the Playboy Mansion, she becomes the house mother for a sorority full of pierced and pregnant losers. Of course, they have a makeup-and-manicure makeover, so they all become, like, way sexy, and can get guys and 30 new pledges so that the sorority is not shut down. Laughs linger throughout.
