Former Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has gone sappy by directing this film that has all the makings of a Lifetime Movie of the Week. Its contrived dialogue oozes touchy feely, and its formulaic plot is straight out of Underdog Sports Drama Clichés 101, as Ice Cubes unemployed has-been football character relives his glory days through his superstar niece. The only minor saving grace is Keke Palmers performance as the real-life Jasmine Plummer, who becomes the first female quarterback to play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl. Rent Quarterback Princess instead.
