Imagine you are a nameless/faceless
struggling writer who cant support your
wife and child on the small profit made
from your only novel about the conflicted
microcosm of migrant workers. What
would you do for some extra cash? Would
you secretly become a male gigolo and
sell your body to unknown women? What
if the hiring proprietor of the escort service
was Mick Jagger? Then would you? In the
case of Byron Tiller, commendably played
by Andy Garcia, this is exactly what
happens. Not only does this adulterous
life jeopardize his marriage, but a
desperate and vindictive female
customer, whose husband just so
happens to be the idolized Pulitzer Prize
winning novelist (James Coburn), ends
up screwing him in more ways than one.
An intriguing look at complex morality
issues, familial strife and realistic
dilemmas--all of which conveyed
admirably by the elite cast.
