accidental documentary,
Revolution follows the coup
against Venezuelas democratically
elected president, the clinically insane
Hugo Chavez. Luckily, the film crew just
happened to be there when the coup,
which may well have been supported by
the United States, took place. The
filmmakers biases are refreshingly
up-front, and the footage of the coup is
rare first-hand stuff. This is what
cinema verité would have been if it
were invented by ancient Romans on the
day Julius Caesar was killed.
