Cmdr. Mike Halstead (Tony Russel) receives orders from United Democracies Space Command to babysit crass scientist Nurmi (Massimo Serato) aboard the spaceship Gamma One. Mike finds Nurmi's genetic experiments loathsome and resents the scientist's effort to woo the ship's judo instructor, Lt. Connie Gomez (Lisa Gastoni). Summoned to Earth to explain a string of disappearances, Mike's glad to get away, realizing too late that Nurmi is behind the crimes and that he has kidnapped Connie.
