If you missed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books, the cartoon TV show or any of the live-action films from the early ’90s, you’ll want to miss this computer-generated retread starring the pizza-loving crime fighters. However, others will appreciate the nostalgia of seeing the four action heroes at it again, even if it’s in this convoluted crime caper. Some 3,000 years ago, a master of evil discovered a portal that opened when some stars aligned. This celestial rarity also released 13 monstrous minions. Now this powerful portal threatens to reopen and create an apocalypse unless the titular turtles can save the day. The confusing screenplay will turn away newcomers, but dedicated fans will go along for the cowabunga ride.
