The title says it all. It's a groggy tale
that somehow extends for 90 minutes the
feeling one has upon awakening from a coma. A
sleepy night watchman loses his gun and
spends several stuporous days searching for
it through the boring suburbs of upstate New
York. An almost hypnotically dull tale, it
achieves what it aims for, which is to say it
conveys nicely the feeling of boredom and
foggy consciousness. If you go to see it,
bring a pillow and some comfortable clothes.
