The incredibly beautiful landscape of
Bhutan stars is this spiritual story about
two men, Dondup and an unnamed
monk, journeying towards the hope of a
better life. Along the way, the monk
weaves a story whose drama stands in
stark contrast to the dull life that Dondup
has lived. While the plot may be
somewhat standard, the visual charm of
the film is strong, and director Khyentze
Nobu (The Cup) isnt afraid to be
funny, which puts him way ahead of most
people who value "spirituality" and
"beauty."
