A concert features the Ellington Big Band, showcasing new transcriptions of Dizzy Gillespie compositions and new, big-band arrangements of Radiohead songs, as well as several other bands from the school performing works by Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Artie Shaw and others, at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11; $20, $15 student or senior, $10 younger than 10.
