It finally happened. The collaboration that absolutely nobody was looking forward to has brought the fruits of its labors to the big screen. Ladies and gentlemen, behold: Madea meets Larry The Cable Guy. It only took seven Madea movies. Watch the standards of culture drop to shocking new lows as director and star Tyler Perry once again dresses in drag and gets involved in another harebrained scheme, except this one is holiday-oriented. Madea gets a job as a Santa greeter at a department store, and needless to say, she’s awful at her job. Everything else in the movie is a part of a laundry list of social ills that Perry tackles with the subtlety of a rampaging rhino. Bullying, school funding and racism get solved by the end credits, and it’s all a merry Christmas from there. Stay far, far away from this cringe-inducing bile.
