Walk to School Day

The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality, Safe Kids Tucson and the Pima County Department of Transportation host Walk to School Day, Wednesday, Oct. 10. The event is intended to encourage walking and bicycling to schools across the county to promote kids' physical activity for health, to improve air quality around schools and neighborhoods, and to strengthen families' connections with their neighborhoods.
